I am usually the biggest guy in the room. Have been since I started grade school. Not only height but also body size.
 
Had polio in my earlier years and I really do not like to walk much and never have been able to run.
 
Grew up in West Texas. Graduated from Muleshoe, Texas High School.
 
Worked my way through Texas Tech University as a diesel mechanic. Worked for Detroit Diesel Engine Division of General Motors in Michigan for a few years.  
 
Even though I loved my job as a Service Engineer, I did not adapt well to the corporate life at General Motors and my wife at the time did not adapt to living in Michigan. We were living close to the 1968 riots which were rather frightening.
 
The smoke, noise.....machine guns and sand bags on street corners. Bad deal.

The decision was made that it was best to move back to Texas.
 
I then had a couple of good jobs as a Region Sales Manager which allowed heavy traveling and drinking. Covering a several State area, lonely hotel rooms. You got the picture.
