My view of the World is based on a wide range of travel and life experiences which include following the wheat harvest as a kid, flying
extensively in my professional duties, both commercially and in my own airplanes. I stoped being a pilot after an engine failure at
night. After I got out of the hospital, I cut the plane up and put it into a U-Hual trailer!
After giving up the bottle, I drove 18 wheeler trucks throughout the United States and Canada for a four year period. This
period of my life was when I met Nancy Fleagle who has been my companion, mentor, and artistic supporter for many years. Her web site
is www.nancyfleagle.com. Also during this period, I became interested in photography. Many times while waiting for a return load,
I was doing photography.
My photography library now includes about 35,000 edited images.
Some of these images are for sale by
various stock agencies.
1993 found me at MD Anderson in Houston with a bad case of cancer in my maxillary sinus. Even though this was found fairly early,
my prognosis was pretty bleak with a 20% chance of survival. Surgery and subsequent radiaton have proven to have kept me breathing
fresh air!
