The first couple of years after the operation, I was not in a very good condition physically or mentally.
I found an old
oil field truck and converted it into a motorhome.
The first three years that I used it, I drove it from Costa Rica to Labrador and many places in North America. I shot a lot of film
during this period as I built up my stock photography library.
I particularily became interested in the Mayan Ruins in Honduras,
Guatemala, and Mexico. I visited and shot all of the major sites. Many more than once.
During the last two years that I had the
truck, it was in Europe.
The truck and I shipped out of Savanna, Georgia on a freighter which went to Rotterdam via the Amazon
River in Brazil. Pretty neat trip except for the 35 foot seas off of Africa.
